Enuf - Demo

Enuf - Demo (1988)
NJ hardcore band from the late 80's. I don't know too much about them but they remind me of Release quite a bit. It's raw, fast, hard and cool as hell. Download this shit and if you're not immediately moshing to "Suckah Mosh" then well damn you're fucking up. Enjoy!

Magnus - Nothing Means More

Magnus - Nothing Means More (1998)
If I recall correctly, my friend Joey showed me this band years ago and right before I had uploaded them to the previous version of this blog. This band came out during the youth crew revival boom of the late 90's so you can pretty much guess what they sound like. Some Youth Of Today and some Gorilla Biscuits and yeah you get the idea. I am super into this record as I am with most bands of this style. I just love the sincerity and energy of bands like this so much. Well anyway the singer of the band went on eventually to sing in Cold World. His younger brother sings in a current band called Disengage who actually paid tribute to Magnus by covering the song "Drinking Song" on one of their records. That is pretty damn cool. Enjoy!

Eleven Thirty-Four - Reality Filter

Eleven Thirty-Four - Reality Filter (1997)
My friend Kyle showed me this band many years ago and I am glad he did because I really do like this record a lot. This band was from Huntington Beach, CA. I've always had a tough time actually describing this band because I don't really think they sound like any other bands I've really listened to before. Maybe a bit like Outspoken? Well they were around late 90s and the songs are mid tempo with a lot of cool bouncy, funky riffs. I'm a big fan of bands who utilize palm muting in such a funky way. Four Walls Falling did it a bunch with their Culture Shock album and of course Bad Brains did it a lot, too. In any case, I absolutely never hear anyone talk about this band so check it and out and tell me what you think! Enjoy!

Dynamo - Demo

Dynamo - Demo (1998)
Before I go on with this, if any of this information is incorrect or if any oldheads want to drop some heavy knowledge please do so because I had a bit of trouble finding accurate information on Dynamo. Hell, I couldn't even find the real demo art so if you have that it'd be much appreciated as well. But yeah Carl The Mosher (Underdog, The Icemen) fronted this band. It's pretty funky and metallic and reminds me of shit like the Cro-Mags and Leeway. This band is pretty under the radar, but they are pretty damn cool as well. Enjoy!

Breakdown - The '87 Demo

Breakdown - The '87 Demo (1987)
This band and demo really needs no introduction. This band was extremely influential and pretty much pioneered the hard NY sound we're all so fond of. This demo is essential to your hardcore listenings so get it right away if you don't already have it. Enjoy!

Committed - The Pride We Share

Committed - The Pride We Share (1998)
Committed was a late 90's youth crew revival band from Cleveland, OH. I still feel like no one talks about them enough because I fucking love em. The singer sounds a lot like Ray Cappo. I remember when I first heard this band I actually though it was like some Better Than A Thousand songs or something since I don't really listen to BTAT that much. Anyway, this EP is fucking awesome. I believe one of the dudes in this band also played in the more recent Cleveland band, Right Idea. Enjoy!
